Michael is a composer, songwriter, and music producer currently living in California.

He received his BA degree in music theory and composition from UCLA, and continued at UCLA for 2 years of graduate level work in classical music composition.

Over the last 25 years he has composed and produced thousands of music cues for hundreds of hours of television and film productions.  Below are some of his credits:

Michael is one of the leading composers for spa/ relaxation music, with over 130,000 CDs sold.  He also co-wrote and produced two CDs for the cult Sailor Moon hit animated series.

Michael has written music and produced tracks for other music libraries, including NBC, Disney, ABC’s Fifth Floor Music, Killer Tracks, and TF-1.

He was a major supplier of background and theme music for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Sounds library for use in TV shows such as Oprah, Dr. Oz, The Nate Berkus Show, and many programs on the OWN Network.

Michael oversaw production of over 2,000 original compositions from more than 50 composers, and acted as an executive producer on all music production and creative aspects.

Michael created a joint venture with a national candy/ snack foods manufacturer to provide 8 CDs of custom branded music.  The music was advertised on all consumer packaging nationwide.  He also developed and implemented a custom website with music download links to all major online music retailers such as iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc.  Michael was responsible for all creative decisions and production responsibilities.

Michael is the author of several books on guitar instruction, and the co-author of Crack The Code, a successful composer training and mentoring course.  He has also served as a guest lecturer at several music licensing seminars.
